There's going to be some suspense this summer on M6. The channel is launching a brand-new program that promises to be as original as it is captivating: Murder Party au Musée, a life-size investigation game hosted by Francis Huster in the prestigious setting of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle. A promising immersive adventure in the style of a giant Cluedo, combining drama, mystery and culture.
This new Wednesday evening appointment takes you on an unprecedented dive into the heart of the Museum, transformed for the occasion into a crime scene. In particular, the Galerie de Paléontologie.
It all begins with a grand inauguration in a majestic setting, before the festivities turn tragic with the discovery of the lifeless body of actor François Berléand.
Six celebrities present that evening become both suspects and investigators, embarking on a thrilling investigation full of twists and turns.
The appointment is given this Wednesday, July 16 at 9:10pm with a second part in the head of the killer at 11:00pm.
The cast includes Natasha St-Pier, Diane Leyre, Michel Sarran, Lola Dubini, Rayane Bensetti and Roman Doduik, a motley crew chosen for their complementarity. Together, they will have to use their flair, analysis and strategy to identify the culprit hidden among them. The game's mechanics are based on a series of tests with evocative names: On the Trail of the Killer, The Murder Weapon, The Police Files and The Interrogation. At each stage, new clues emerge, but also new areas of mystery.
To orchestrate the plot, M6 called on renowned actor Francis Huster, who took on the role of master of ceremonies for the first time. It has to be said that his presence in Les Traitres left a lasting impression. Actor, director, scriptwriter, former student of the Cours Florent and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, member of the Comédie-Française, revealed to the general public by Claude Lelouch, nominated three times for the Molières and crowned last year with a Molière d'honneur, holder of a Globe de Cristal for best actor since 2015 for Le Joueur d'échecs, and forever marked by the success of Le Dîner de cons, Francis Huster today asserts himself as a popular figure of entertainment.
Known for his calm voice and theatrical presence, he promises to make the evening a performance in itself. An omniscient narrator, he guides celebrities and viewers alike, distilling exclusive on-screen clues so that everyone can conduct their own investigation from the comfort of their own homes.
Beyond the suspense, Murder Party at the Museum stands out for its exceptional setting. For the first time, the public will be able to discover confidential areas of the Museum that are normally inaccessible. It's a fun and original way to explore behind-the-scenes of this major Parisian heritage site.
With a charity prize of 10,000 euros up for grabs, the tension will be palpable right up to the last minute. If the investigator succeeds in unmasking the killer, he wins the prize money for the charity of his choice. But if the culprit remains in the shadows, it's he who pockets the cash for his own cause.
A blend of family entertainment, museum immersion and police strategy, this new program from La Six promises an evening full of twists and turns at the crossroads of genres. A premiere not to be missed, especially for those who love intrigue and spectacular settings. This Wednesday, we'll be investigating at the Museum.
