Les Traîtres season 5 is back on M6 with a vengeance. Christine Bravo, the emblematic journalist and host, was the first victim of this new edition, broadcast on September 2, 2025. She was sacrificed by rapper Yanns, who wanted to bring back Frédérique Bel, the former Traîtresse of season 3.
On the grounds of the neo-Gothic château de Bournel in Franche-Comté, Éric Antoine had reserved a first major surprise for the sixteen contestants. The surprise arrival of Frédérique Bel necessitated the elimination of one contestant. Yanns volunteered to take Christine Bravo' s place, to the amazement of the other celebrities. "He's disgusting," exclaimed the former host, visibly displeased by the choice.
The naming of the traitors also surprised by its originality. Unlike in previous seasons, Éric Antoine touched the shoulder of all the candidates... except two. This reversed method revealed thatAnne-Elisabeth Blateau was one of the two traitors in this new edition.
The fifteen remaining candidates then took part in a first "explosive" test in a minefield, to win ingots for their respective associations. Fabien Olicard and video artist Doigby won the two immunity amulets up for grabs.
That evening, during a cocktail party between the players, the two traitors discovered each other's identity thanks to a key phrase. Viewers then learned that Camille Cerf, Miss France 2015, was the second traitor in season 5.
During the night, the diabolical duo designated their first banishment: Lou, the singer and actress. "I'm disgusted. Traitors, I hope you don't win this year," declared the unfortunate candidate before leaving the Château de Bournel for good.
Anne-Elisabeth Blateau and Camille Cerf then recruited their third ally in Fabien Olicard, the mentalist who agreed to join their camp. This alliance could prove formidable, as the mentalist's psychological profile seems well-suited to this game of manipulation.
However, her behavior in a new game has already aroused the suspicions of the other candidates. Will the trio be able to maintain their cover against the fifteen other personalities in the cast, including Marlène Schiappa, Raymond Domenech, Héléna Noguerra and streamer Doigby?
Good news for fans of manipulation and dirty tricks: the sequel to Les Traîtres season 5 awaits you this Saturday, September 7 at 9.10pm on M6. There's a slight change to the program this year, as the show moves from Tuesday evenings to a more comfortable Saturday slot. And it gets even better: you'll get two episodes in a row every week!
This new formula will allow us to follow the castle's shenanigans even more intensely. And this season promises to be full of surprises, with the announced arrival of three mysterious masked players.
