Taylor Swift returns to the silver screen with "The Official Release Party Of A Showgirl".

Taylor Swift fans are in the starting-blocks! On October 3, 2025, the American star will be back in stores with " The Life Of A Showgirl " , her 12th studio album, released just a year and a half after " The Tortured Poets Department ". The album will feature 12 new tracks, including a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the eponymous track.

For the occasion, Taylor Swift is going all out, announcing a special, " theatrical " event. To coincide with the release of her new album " The Life of a Showgirl " , Taylor Swift will be presenting " The Official Release Party Of A Showgirl " over the same weekend. The 89-minute film will be shown in cinemas across the U.S. and Europe.

According to NME, the program will be available simultaneously in Canada, Mexico, the UK, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets for performances in these countries go on sale on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 on the dedicated website.

In a post published on her social networks, Taylor Swift tells us a little more about this very special event, entitled " The Official Release Party Of A Showgirl", to be seen on the big screen between October 3 and 5, 2025.

" I cordially invite you to a dazzling evening, "The Official Release Party of a Showgirl": from October 3 to 5 exclusively at the cinema! You'll be able to see the exclusive world premiere of the video for my new single "The Fate of Ophelia", as well as never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of its creation, detailed shot-by-shot explanations of the musical inspirations, and new lyric videos from my album "The Life of a Showgirl". It's time to get rid of your "Eras" tour outfit or your orange cardigan... [...] Dancing is optional, but highly recommended ", reads the message.

As Taylor Swift fans know, this isn't the first time the American artist has embarked on this kind of film project. In 2020, she directed and produced " Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions ", in which she performed the entirety of her " Folklore " album.
