Contrary to initial announcements, the gaming festival at the City of Science will not take place in 2026. We're hopeful that Villette eSport will make a comeback next year.

Bad news for gaming enthusiasts and eSports fans: the Cité des Sciences will not be hosting a dedicated festival in 2026. Hopefully, Villette eSport will make a comeback soon, bringing us another edition just as fun and exhilarating.

The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is putting the spotlight on eSports with its annual festival, the Villette eSport. Traditionally held at the start of the year, this event gathers game industry professionals and streamers to offer workshops, panel discussions, masterclasses, and tournaments. It's the perfect chance to explore the exciting world of competitive gaming in a family-friendly and entertaining setting.

At the Villette eSport festival, attendees and spectators enjoy a range of conferences covering the latest trends and in-depth topics within the gaming world. Enthusiasts have the chance to meet French eSports teams and champions, join creative workshops and gaming tournaments, try out a variety of free-play titles, and even learn how to code and develop their own games...

This festival immerses visitors in the vibrant and diverse world of video games and eSports, offering a wide range of activities suitable for children as well as adults.

The event's schedule shifts each year. In past editions, gamers competed in tournaments like Just Dance, Mario Kart 8, and Valorant. Spectators also had the chance to watch demonstrations, attend masterclasses, and participate in workshops...

An exciting gaming event to bring together all the gamers in the city!
