When cinema and escape games meet... For the release of François Ozon's film Mon Crime, in cinemas from March 8, Gaumont is offering you a tailor-made escape game to extend the experience of the film. Come to the UGC Ciné Cité Bercy, from March 7 to 10, 2023, to solve various riddles, as well as the murder that has been pinned on you!

How about an escape game around François Ozon's latest film? On the occasion of the release of Mon Crime, in theaters from March 8, 2023, Gaumont, which distributes the film, invites you to participate in an escape game off the beaten path at theUGC Ciné Cité Bercy from March 7 to 10, 2023. From 6pm to 9pm, and with a ticket for the film, come and solve riddles and find evidence of the murder you are accused of, as well as other evidence supporting self-defense!

As for the exact content of the puzzles to be solved and the environment, you'll have to go see the movie to find out. But note that fans of investigations and other whodunits should find something to their liking, as well as fans of François Ozon's cinema, since these will revolve around the general theme of this highly anticipated comedy. And as for any escape game, you have one hour to solve the enigmas and get out of the room.

And for those who would like to see the film before or after, we tell you about it here :

An experience that the editors were able to test beforehand. Among the participants, one did not see the film, the other was able to see it in press screening. A difference that does not pose any problem here, since an actor will explain what it's all about, whether you have seen the movie or not (you can do theescape game before your movie session).

As for the puzzles, we won't lie to you: they are very simple, allowing even the most novice to succeed in getting out in time, theescape game not being there to challenge you (it's not its goal), but to propose you to prolong the experience. And on this side, it is rather successful. The idea? Just like in the movie, you have to find evidence indicating that you are the murderer in this story, but also other evidence indicating self defense.

An experience that, for an escape game accessible with the purchase of a ticket for the film, is worth the detour, if only to prolong the immersion in the film. Otherwise, it's the opportunity to take advantage of this escape game to discover this feature film.

So, are you ready to take up the challenge? All you have to do is book your cinema ticket!

This test was conducted as part of a professional invitation. If your experience differs from ours, please mention it in the comments.
