Remember those long teenage afternoons spent in front of the console, trying to beat your brother or friend at Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi? Dozens of video games based on the Dragon Ball Z license have been released since 2007, the release date of the last opus in the video game saga. Yet Sangoku and Vegeta fans remain convinced that this is the best Dragon Ball Z game ever produced. In 2024, perhaps their opinion will change. 17 years after the release of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, a fourth installment will see the light of day. This new game is renamed Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. And a nostalgia-filled trailer has just been released.
No release date has yet been announced, but we do know that it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and Steam. We can also expect a Nintendo Switch release. The trailer was unveiled at the Game Awards ceremony.
