While Fort Boyard returns to television every Saturday evening throughout the summer, the Sortiraparis editorial team invites you to experience the TV game for real with Fort Boyard Aventures, an Action Game to be discovered in Vélizy from September 6, 2023! Game space, new cells, stimulating tests: everything you need for a thrilling challenge... We've tested it, and we'll tell you all about it!

Awaken the adventurer within you and get ready to dive into the captivating world of Fort Boyard Aventures! Following the success of the sites in Brétigny and Montpellier, the third Fort Boyard Aventures in France will open its doors in the Vélizy 2 shopping center, just 20 minutes from Paris, during the first half of September. Easily reachable by car or by taking tram line T6, this new gaming venue promises an immersive experience like no other for challenge- and entertainment-seekers alike.

The Fort Boyard Aventures Vélizy site unfolds over 850m2 dedicated entirely to gameplay, placing players right in the thick of the Fort’s universe. Expect a host of challenges along a playful course that features five all-new cells compared with the other two centers. Each cell blends elements of problem-solving, strength, dexterity and balance to raise the bar and deepen immersion. Whether you’re in a team of 2 to 5 players (ages 7 and up), everyone will find something to enjoy.

Beyond an intense gameplay experience, the venue also features a 250m2 space capable of welcoming up to around a hundred people for a variety of events. Whether for corporate seminars, school trips, birthday celebrations, or EVG/EVJF, the fully equipped room at the Fort Boyard Aventures Vélizy is perfectly suited to all your celebrations. Inspired by the spirit of the famous Père Fouras, the Fort Boyard Aventures concept brings the iconic France 2 show to life in a live-action, real-world game format.

Our Fort Boyard Aventures at Velizy 2 review:

Fans of Fort Boyard, here’s the perfect spot for you! Head to Velizy 2 to check out Fort Boyard Aventures, a solid Action Game born from the famous France 2 game show. We’d already sampled the experience at Brétigny, and we liked it a lot... So what’s new about Fort Boyard Aventures at Velizy, or at least how it differs from the Brétigny location? A few things...

First up are the new cells, a portion of which is open to visitors (2 out of 5 are accessible now; the others are still being installed). We naturally got to test these new cells, and the immersion is definitely there! We got to explore Las Fouras, a casino-style wheel where you roll balls, and the Bowling, a ramped bowling lane where you roll a ball to knock down pins.

Two different approaches among the cells: the first demands more dexterity, while the second relies more on strength (the bowling balls, though pliable, are heavy and the range of action is limited). As for the other three, we only got a teaser, but they look bound to be a hit (we’re eager to try them).

Then, overall, the experience showcases what the brand does best: a smoothly executed, well-crafted Action Game, from collecting keys to the treasure room, including the clues and the Time Masters. Time flies here... Special mentions go to the Cyinders that sent us crashing several times, and to the Temple Maya, which is incredibly immersive.

The Treasure Room itself is especially well done, very faithful to what contestants experience on the show. You’ll feel right at home in there... In short, a fantastic experience that we absolutely loved! All that’s left is to go give the adventure a try yourselves!
