And among the adventures on offer, one in particular caught our eye: The Joker - Jokes on you! Here's the pitch for this room:"The Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime, has decided to give you the scoop of the year with an exclusive interview from Arkham Asylum. Far from Batman's discretion, The Joker loves the limelight. Gotham City reporters are invited to attend this event, but beware, anything can happen with The Joker at the helm! Can you play by his rules? Climb aboard the train to join him and get your exclusive interview. The scoop is at the end of the tunnel".

Our review of The Joker Room – Jokes on You at Batman Escape:

The editorial team had a preview of this room, and we won’t pretend: we came away pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience, from the story and set design to the puzzles and the presence of live actors. It all begins upstairs, where our group is given a mission: to interview the Joker inside the Arkham Asylum. Armed with Daily Planet badges for our gig, we’re escorted into the subway in a secured route laid out to reach the venue. But you can guess nothing will go as planned...

Without spoiling anything, we soon face Harley Quinn, who challenges us through a series of mini-games—the first half of the experience feels like an Action Game. On the mini-game side, it’s quite eclectic: some are fairly accessible, others more demanding. Don’t expect to clear them all in one go—the idea is that you’ll come back to tackle the remaining trials. Special kudos to the actress playing Harley Quinn, who will happily derail you at every turn during this opening stretch.

Then the second half of the experience kicks in, much closer to a traditional escape room: scavenger hunts, puzzles… you name it. Teamwork is essential—both within your own group and with the other teams joining you—to pull off the adventure. It’s a lot of fun, family-friendly, and the set design is notably well done. The experience even manages to stay dynamic from start to finish, giving you no real breather.

In short, we loved it and are eager to check out the two other rooms centered on the Batcave and the Phantom Man.

It's an experience we can't recommend highly enough, especially if you're a superhero fan. Now all you have to do is book your session!

This test was conducted as part of a professional invitation. If your experience differs from ours, please let us know.
