The trailer for Pentiment:

Pentiment synopsis:

" Immerse yourself in a vivid, illustrated world inspired by medieval manuscript illumination and woodcutting at a time when Europe is undergoing religious and political metamorphoses. Follow in the footsteps of Andreas Maler, a highly talented artist who finds himself embroiled in murder, scandal and an investigation that takes you as far as the Bavarian Alps. Choose your environment, play a role in a fast-changing world and assume the consequences of your choices in this narrative adventure."

So here we are, in the shoes of a medieval artist, tasked with solving the murder of a prominent Bavarian figure. Numerous other mysteries and investigations are gradually added to the journey of our avatar, who will have to make the right choices when it comes to dispensing justice.

This exciting adventure is made all the more interesting by the original choice of graphics. Colors, perspectives, scenery: everything is done to remind us of the distinctive aesthetics of medieval art, as seen in ancient books and tapestries.

Please note that this game is aimed at a more mature audience: trials, bonfires, brawls, murders... Life wasn't easy in the Middle Ages, and this story tackles some harsh themes.

Dive into the past, and try to solve this unusual investigation!
