The synopsis takes you into an unsolved mystery: in 1942, a group of people disappeared overnight, after one of them found a mysterious artifact. Decades later, workmen trying to renovate the site are falling into dementia, claiming paranormal phenomena. The mediums, embodied by the participants, must explore these deserted alleys, abandoned cafés and subways, all the while being guided by distant voices. Each player perceives unique sounds, depending on his or her psychic powers and progress in the story.

An immersive experience that our team had the chance to try out... When it comes to immersion, they’ve nailed it! The headphones come to life every time you get close to a specific object, allowing you to hear different voices depending on the group—you might eavesdrop on various conversations. Combining these different audio streams is key to solving the puzzles along the way. Everything feels very smooth, and the entire setup is thoughtfully designed. In short, we loved it.

As for décor, don’t expect to feel like you’re wandering in an empty space — quite the opposite. Sculpteurs de Rêves clever reuse some of the decor from one of their previous experiences, seamlessly integrating it into this new adventure. You start the session around a table, in a style reminiscent of a “séance,” where the rules are explained. Once again, this is well-integrated and thoughtfully arranged within the experience.

At first, it’s a bit of trial and error, and the flood of information can be quite disorienting, making it tricky to figure out what to use or ignore. But you quickly get the hang of it, and the highly dynamic experience promises some exciting mystical and occult adventures. We can only recommend this journey!
