Good news for Star Wars Outlaws fans! The video game based on the space saga, developed and published by Ubisoft, has announced the release of new DLC for May 15, 2025. Entitled A Pirate's Fortune, this additional content is free for Season Pass holders, and €14.99 for other players. Available on all compatible platforms, i.e. PC, PS5 and Xbox Series (and in September for Nintendo Switch 2), the DLC features a new storyline featuring Kay Vess and her companion Nix, embarked on an unprecedented interstellar mission. Players must have completed the main campaign to access this extension.
This new adventure sees Kay and Nix team up with Hondo Ohnaka, a well-known figure to fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the comic Darth Maul (2017). Hondo, already featured in the Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction in Disneyland' s Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge zone (in US parks), becomes a strategic ally here against Stinger Tash and Rokana's Breakers. The DLC features exploration of an ancient tomb on Khepi and introduces smuggling mechanics in conjunction with the Miyuki Trade League, which will offer infiltration missions and transport of sensitive cargo.
Alongside the arrival of this downloadable content, an update will be rolled out featuring cosmetic items from the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series, such as an outfit for Nix and trophies for the vehicles. These items will be accessible via the Trailblazer delivery crate. Ubisoft is thus continuing the development of its roadmap, which began in November 2024 with Wild Card, the first DLC featuring Lando Calrissian in a Sabacc tournament.
Finally, for those who haven't yet tried Star Wars Outlaws, a free three-hour trial version is still available on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. The main game will also be ported to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025, as announced at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan.
