So, what's this Ultizero Games cut? On the whole, it's quite nice, both in terms of the story and the intuitive gamplay. Story-wise, it's pretty straightforward, but does the bare minimum. The only downside is that it's a bit of a copy-paste from Final Fantasy in terms of content (a girl with a tragic destiny to save, a group of rebels fighting against an empire, a dark, tortured hero, etc.). It's all a bit reheated, but we do appreciate a certain "originality" with the character of Lord Arena, a dragon who grants powers to our hero. We forgive this, as the game is part of a Sony project showcasing little-known Chinese studios.
Graphically speaking, it's a little more complicated: the graphics aren't very accomplished, especially the textures of the characters, which aren't crazy, but it's still playable. The cinematic sequences, on the other hand, are very nice.
Gameplay-wise, it doesn't revolutionize the genre, but the work is done and well done: the mechanics are fairly simple to understand and intuitive, and the exploration-plus-bosses aspect breaks the monotony that the game could have, even if the exploration phases followed by a boss fight are repetitive.
