It all happened 30 years ago: in 1995, Ubisoft introduced its iconic platformer featuring a quirky hero—limbless but sporting a bewildering whirl of curly hair. Rayman faced off against bizarre creatures using his special punch move, all while rescuing tiny electrons.
The anniversary edition has been redesigned to suit modern consoles. The collection features five versions of Rayman: the original for PlayStation, MS-DOS, Atari Jaguar, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. And as a special bonus: players can also try out a prototype of the game for SNES, which was never officially released. This means you get the original game, but also 120 additional levels, along with an exclusive interactive documentary revealing the origins of Rayman.
