A new co-op game is in the works at Ghost Town Games. The creators of the indispensable Overcooked! revealed a fresh title during the Nintendo Direct on September 9, 2026. Check out the trailer for Stage Fright, a duo-friendly game slated to launch on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in 2027.

We meet two small characters on a quest to find their friend in a supernatural world full of monsters. On a split screen, the two buddies must team up to tackle the various challenges and solve the puzzles. The early footage of the game hints at a Little Nightmare—a little less scary and a bit cuter.
Ghost Town Games is leaning on the co-op gameplay mechanics that have already proven successful. The trailer shows a Halloween-themed world, varied settings, and colorful, expressive characters. As for the rest, we'll have to wait for a new trailer to learn more.
