Christmas 2020 is approaching, so it's time to choose our tree. To help you make your choice, we have selected our favorite producers of French-grown trees, who deliver to your home. Direct from the producer to the consumer, you can't get any fresher than that.

Nordmann or Spruce? Natural or flocked? So many questions arise when it comes to choosing the perfect Christmas tree. Which tree will you choose this year? To help you with this very special Christmas 2020, we offer you our best selection of Christmas trees grownin France and available for delivery anywhere.

Although florists had to close their doors after All Saints' Day, they are still open for click and collect, and you can of course order your tree from your usual florist, thereby supporting small businesses and activity in your neighborhood.

In terms of large retailers, the florist and plant sections are currently closed to the public. So our advice is to order directly from the producer.

We've found some great places to buy natural, chic, or even unusual trees, all from independent French producers, of course!

To help you choose the variety of tree that suits you best, we explain everything in this article: How to choose your Christmas tree.

And to discover some great French Christmas tree producers, let's go!

Rapidsapin.com
Despite its name, which might suggest a multinational company, Rapidsapin.com is actually an independent French Christmas tree producer based in the Morvan region. Since 2006, it has offered around fifty different types of Christmas trees and a range of delivery options. These Christmas tree enthusiasts work all year round to grow the best trees for us.

At Rapidsapin.com, we really like potted trees, which can be replanted after the holidays. However, there is no guarantee that they will survive, as it depends on the condition of the tree, but it's worth a try. If you prefer colorful decorations in your home, you'll also love our flocked trees, which come in particularly original colors such as turquoise and purple. The 1.5-meter Nordmann treeis €59 and the 1.5-meter potted Nordmann treeis €69.50.

France Sapin Bio
France SapinBio
guarantees high-quality organic Christmas trees that are 100% French and 100% natural. These trees are grown in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, using only natural products and no pesticides, which means they are certified organic. Located in Arriège, this Christmas tree producer also has a branch in Toulouse and offers home delivery throughout France. Choose between Nordmann or Spruce. The 1m organic Spruce is €45 and the 1m organic Nordmann is €50.

Treezmas: Adopt a tree
Their names are Jeanne, Louis, Martin, and Marcel. They are between 3 and 8 years old and are eitherspruce or Nordmann fir trees. How about adopting a potted tree instead of buying a cut one this year? That's what Treezmas offers. You choose your tree on their website (they have ages and names, yes!), spend the holidays with it, and then the Treezmas team comes to pick it up and give it a second life. Nice! Prices range from €59.95 to €114.95 depending on the size of the tree.

Sapinbio.com
Like those from Rapidsapin, these trees come from Morvan. They are grown in France using 100% natural methods, without any pesticides. They also carry the "AB certified" label. Sapinbio.com delivers anywhere in France.

Green Christmas
This traditional farm is located in the heart of Poitou. In the mid-1990s, after more than 35 years of growing cereals, the farm decided to plant and "grow" Christmas trees. And of course, the trees are delivered throughout France.

Here, you can choose between the classic Nordmann and Spruce, but you can also buy a Pungens or an Engelmanii, which are rarer varieties.

Discovered in Colorado, Pungens has a beautiful silvery blue color and a pleasant pine scent. It is less common than Nordmann on the market because of its stiff, prickly needles, but like Nordmann, it is highly resistant to heat.

Engelmanii is also bluish like Pungens but with softer needles. Its shape and scent are reminiscent of the classic spruce.

Here's how to find the right tree for you. And once Christmas is over, you can plant your tree or recycle it.

Happy holidays to everyone!
