Chercheminippes, Paris's second-hand institution: the best shopping & decorating plan

To discover it, head for the Latin Quarter. As you walk along rue du Cherche-Midi, you'll probably notice a number of burgundy-colored signs covering one of the plots. Here you are in one of the oldest second-hand strongholds in Paris: Chercheminippes. Well-established in Paris for some fifty years, this shop is synonymous with bargains.

A total of five boutiques await you. Two are dedicated to men's and women's ready-to-wear. The third transports us into the world of Haute-Couture, with contemporary and vintage pieces. A fourth is full ofaccessories, while the last offers inspiration in home décor and furniture. Each of these boutiques is a veritable goldmine, full of favorites.
