After Zara Home and H&M Home, it's Monoprix 's turn to launch stores dedicated entirely to home decoration! The French retailer has chosen the So Ouest shopping center in Levallois Perret (92) as the location for its first 100% deco address, inaugurated this Thursday, October 6, 2022.
The nonagenarian brand has been offering decorative objects since the 60s. Its credo: to make design accessible to all, with unique and trendy products. The 300 m2 of Monoprix's "little" new store feature almost 2,700 references, arranged in themed areas (living room, kitchen, bathroom, office and bedroom). This new layout makes it possible to discover Monoprix's entire decorating offer, which was previously often scattered throughout the original stores.
A vintage atmosphere on the shelves of this first "Monoprix Maison" store! The shelves and walls are stacked with re-editions of iconic Prisunic pieces (acquired by the group in 1997), created as part of the exhibition held at the Musée des Arts Déco in Paris. Discover the famous"Lampe Élysées" (€220) designed by Marc Held in 1983 and once owned by François Mitterrand, or the bright orange"Tabouret Tam-tam"(€22) designed by Henry Massonet in 1968. Along the way, you'll even find a corner of second-hand crockery by Selency, the online second-hand shop with the finest selection.
And, as the icing on the cake, the structure is even planning to launch free decorating coaching sessions in November!
