From September 18 to 21, 2025, right in the middle of the Journées du Patrimoine, Le Monde unfolds in large format and invites the public to experience current events from the inside. The Festival du Monde is four days of debates, meetings, tours and gourmet discoveries for the whole family, to be discovered at the headquarters of one of the world's most emblematic media!
Every year, over a long weekend in September, to coincide with the Journées du Patrimoine, Le Monde goes into full-scale mode and opens its columns... and its doors! The festival 's headline feature: a packed program of debates on the major issues of the day, meetings with journalists, guided tours of the head office and gourmet discoveries.
For four days, the public can go behind the scenes of a benchmark media organization, housed in an emblematic building designed by Snøhetta, recognizable by its arch and translucent façade. Conferences to imagine the worlds of tomorrow, workshops to create the day's front page or produce digital content, day and night tours... here, journalism is experienced live!
The freely-accessible forecourt is the setting for a festive atmosphere: concerts, shows, performances, street food tastings and flavours from around the world follow one another non-stop. Youngsters, too, can enjoy creative, fun activities designed especially for them.
