The Marché aux Plantes de Clichy is back this year to offer nature and gardening lovers a unique and rewarding experience. Located at the Place des Martyrs, this festive event will be held on April 16, 2023 from 10am to 6pm, with free admission for all.
In addition to the traditional sale of plants and flowers, the market offers a real gourmet market as well as many animations around nature and the environment. Among the florists present are Maison Baptiste Pitou, Escapade végétale and Leïla Fleurs. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet horticulturists and buy seeds and bulbs for their gardens.
To delight the taste buds, the gourmet market welcomes vendors of food products such as honey, ancient vegetables, sheep cheese, olive oil and organic tapenade, dried fruits, macaroons and even great wines from Burgundy. Organic cosmetics and stones and minerals will also be available for sale.
The City of Clichy will have a stand where green space agents will give gardening advice and distribute free compost from the city's composters. Those interested will also be able to learn about the city's shared gardens.
Apiterra will lead a workshop to discover beehives, while the association La Fresque du Climat will offer a workshop to raise awareness about climate change through an educational quiz. TheNGO WWF will also be present with workshops to raise awareness of environmental protection in the form of games for children and will offer goodies for sale. To add a festive touch, DJ Ben J will be there to set the mood.
Finally, to satisfy your appetite, the Parisian foodtruck Le French Toque, specialized in healthy and quality fast food, will offer sweet and salty dishes as well as drinks throughout the day.
