Return to Hogwarts: test your Harry Potter knowledge at the Sainte-Geneviève library

The not-to-be-missed date for Harry Potter fans is set for Saturday August 30, 2025, just before the start of the new school year! And with good reason, since you'll have to pass a"Grand Examen" to hope to return to Hogwarts this year, in an exceptional venue steeped in history, the almost magical Sainte-Geneviève library in the capital's 5th arrondissement. A new free event, following the arrival of the Magicobus and the Hogwarts Express in Paris in previous years.

Six 1.5-hour examination sessions will be held throughout the day, including two specially designed for families. From 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., registered fans will be able to take part in a series of tests including multiple-choice questions, audio extracts and a dictation on the saga, in a studious atmosphere worthy of a return to Hogwarts.

At the end of each session, participants will be invited to hand in their papers as if they were sitting a real exam! These papers will be seriously corrected, and the results will be available online to prolong the experience. Other surprises await you all day long in the wizarding world, with entertainment provided by the two brands partnering the event.

For those who won't be in the capital, this exam will also be available online, from Saturday August 30 to Sunday September 6. Don't forget to register in advance to take the Grand Examen in person!
