We’re marking the end of spring and the start of summer with a special event at the Gaîté Lyrique! A free festival, open to all, returning to explore art and ecology. From June 18–21, 2026, the Gaîté Lyrique welcomes the third edition of the Anticipation festival: the festival brings together more than fifteen artists to alert the public to the climate emergency and raise awareness of this cause.
What's on the program? The festival invites you to imagine together a livable future, to envision new possibilities and, above all, to find solutions for taking concrete action in the face of environmental problems and climate challenges, with exhibitions by designers and visual artists, dance and theater performances, concerts, film screenings, educational workshops... Come and see a fresco on the climate, listen to the debates at the various round tables, and above all, discover the essential information you need to take action on your own scale in the face of the environmental emergency.
The detailed lineup for this new edition isn’t finalized yet, but a few unmissable moments are already on the radar. On June 21, a DJ-set-filled evening will close the festival, letting us celebrate World Music Day. Visitors can also enjoy an exhibition, performances, and a workshop... From concerts to digital art, photography, textiles and design, painting, round-table discussions, and talks, the program looks set to be packed.
Whether you’re coming with family, with teens, with friends, or otherwise, the good news is that the Anticipation festival is free, open to all and requires no reservations! If you’re looking for a playful yet mainly educational activity about climate from June 18 to 21, 2026, head to La Gaîté Lyrique!
