Girl'Ink Convention, the tattoo fair this weekend in Seine et Marne

The Girl'Ink Convention is the must-attend event for women's tattooing in the Paris region. This tattoo convention, 100% dedicated to female tattoo artists, takes place in Ozoir-la-Ferrière in Seine-et-Marne on September 13 and 14, 2025. More than just a tattoo show, it's a veritable showcase for female talent, bringing together some 60 tattoo artists, designers, craftswomen and stage performers in a friendly, caring atmosphere.

Organized by the Black Ball Tattoo and Event association under the impetus of Jérôme Delesalle, manager of a Parisian tattoo shop and event organizer since 2015, this convention has established itself as a benchmark in the French tattoo convention landscape. The event is held at the Salle du Caroussel, a 1200 m² modular space located at 4 rue de la Ferme du Presbytère in Ozoir-la-Ferrière, easily accessible from Paris and the entire Paris region.

The originality of Girl'Ink lies in its all-female concept, which highlights the creativity and expertise of French tattoo artists. Unlike mixed-gender conventions such as the famous Mondial du Tatouage, which is bowing out in 2026, or the Salon International du Tatouage de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, this one offers a different approach to body art, emphasizing exchange in a festive atmosphere. Visitors can discover all styles of tattooing: from traditional to realistic,ornamental, geometric, fine line,watercolour or Polynesian.

What to discover at Girl'Ink Convention 2025?

In addition to live tattoo sessions, the event offers a genuine cultural ecosystem. A minimarket ofFrench artisans presents original creations: personalized clothing, costume jewelry, decorative objects, all in the spirit of "handmade in France" with a tattoo touch. Exhibitors complete the offer with piercing stands and a variety of handcrafted creations, reminding us of the importance of supporting French craftsmanship.

The stage program is one of the major assets of the Girl'Ink Convention. Pin-up shows, dancers, burlesque and boylesque performances, rock bands and DJ sets take over the stage every hour. This year, the organizers have lined up artists such as Cervena Fox, Sun Brutal Pop, Pink Cabaret Girls and Shamay Show with its hula-hoop performances, adding a spectacular dimension to the event. These shows promise to provide us with some great entertainment between two visits to the stands.

How do the tattoo contests work?

The 11th edition places particular emphasis on tattoo competitions, with 4 competitions in 19 categories. Saturday focuses on small and medium-sized pieces (A5 to A4 format), with competitions for scarred tattoos, lines and tracings, original motifs and realism. Sunday sees the addition of medium and large tattoos (minimum A4 format), as well as graphic and abstract categories, and the eagerly-awaited Audience Choice trophy voted by applause meter.

The "Best Tattoo Artist of the Weekend" competition crowns the event, with a Best of Show selected from the 8 finalists in all categories. This no-registration competition is an opportunity to discover emerging and established talent on the French tattoo scene. Tattoo artist Poupiii has won the Best of Show trophy three years running with her ornamental tattoos, demonstrating the excellence of this event.

How to get to the convention

The Salle du Caroussel has a 130-space parking lot and is close to public transport with several bus routes (3145, 500, 3114, 3144, 502). From Paris, Ozoir-la-Ferrière is accessible via the RER with connections, or by road via the A4. The town is 12 km from Marne-la-Vallée, 12 km from Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and 12 km from Noisy-le-Grand, making it an easily accessible destination for all Ile-de-France residents.

Prices remain affordable, at €12.50 per day or €20 for the two-day pass. Admission is free for under-18s accompanied by an adult, confirming the organizers' desire to democratize access to this art form. On-site bars and food trucks provide a relaxed atmosphere.
