Le Barbier des Voyeurs is a trendy address in Paris's 7th arrondissement. This hybrid place is both a beauty salon and a concept store. A veritable temple to the art of living. We take a look at what's new!

If there's one thing we've learned from Covid in 2020 and again in 2021, it's that it's good to take time for yourself. When you're lucky enough to be in Paris, there's a whole range of hot wellness spots to choose from. Today, we'd like to introduce you to a fabulous spot for gentlemen: Le Barbier des Voyeurs.

This unusual address nestles in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, and is sure to attract the intrigued glances of passers-by. Behind a blue facade, long red curtains and a wood-panelled frame embellished with sculptures, we can see that this is no ordinary barbershop. In this timeless spot, Parisians discover a veritable temple to masculine well-being.

Le Barbier des Voyeurs could have been content with this role on its façade. But the concept goes much further. This barbershop and hairdressing salon also offers a wide range of treatments, fromwaxing to mesotherapy and manicures. All this, to the sound of a Soul & Jazz playlist that changes with the seasons, with a complimentary gourmet drink ranging from coffee to a small glass of whisky. The dedicated bar also offers a range of premium sakes, for an unrivalled moment of relaxation.

Two new treatments have been added to the menu: a "coup d'éclat" facial that awakens your skin in the best possible way, thanks to an exfoliating scrub and the application of an argan oil, green tea and coffee extract cream, and a completely new "immersive treatment", the "Murmure Chamanique". What does it involve? For 40-45 minutes, you are immersed in South America with a series of massages using maracuja soap, red clay and Brazilian banana cream. A massage that awakens all the senses, with a finely tuned playlist of South American music and the scent of sage wafting into your nostrils.

The last new treatment on the menu is a pedicure. New drinks are also available at the bar, as well as new jewelry for sale in the in-house showcases.

We were able to try out the services offered, including a haircut, beard trimming and a "coup d'éclat" treatment. From the moment you enter, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome, and a team dedicated to making this moment of well-being a unique one. After a drink of your choice (an excellent black tea for us), you settle into a black barber's chair, with a long red curtain that opens and closes for varying degrees of privacy. It's a theatrical ambience where it's good to get dressed up for a gala evening.

Whether it's your hair or your beard, you're literally pampered, with an incomparable quality of care, including specific shampoos for your hair and beard, massages, shaving and, last but not least, that little touch of talcum powder. One thing's for sure: you're all set! The quality/price ratio is unbeatable: expect to pay 35 euros for a traditional beard trim, 25 euros for a 3-day beard trim, 45 euros for a haircut, 30 euros for hair care or 30 euros for a 30-minute manicure. Drinks are included in the price.

And for the treatment, it's all the same: a truly relaxing moment of facial pampering, between the application of creams and hot towels. The results are immediately visible, with skin that's firmer, clearer and more refreshed. A quality treatment, since you should stay looking dapper for at least three days... It doesn't get any better than this! For a moment of pure relaxation, expect to pay 25 euros.

Finally, for the barber and hairdresser, if you want privacy during your service, a heavy scarlet curtain can surround your seat, hiding you from the gaze of others. For those who don't want to attract attention, a back door allows you to slip out the back. Please also note that privatization is possible for small groups (due to sanitary regulations), for haircuts, beard trimming or other customized services, and that a wide range of quality skin care products are available for sale, so you can maintain everything at home.
