This Sunday, September 24, 2023, the Jardin d'Acclimatation invites sports enthusiasts and amateurs alike to come and run or walk in the Bois de Boulogne alleys. As with every edition of the Paris Virade de l'Espoir, the day is an opportunity for everyone to get involved in the fight against cystic fibrosis. The program for this day of solidarity? Hundreds of volunteers and thousands of participants will be mobilized at the Village de l'Espoir, to collect as many donations as possible.
To take part, you can choose between the Course du Souffle and its three courses: the 10km for athletes of all levels, the 5km for families or Sunday sports enthusiasts, and the 3.5km for the very young. If you prefer to walk, but would still like to take part in this solidarity event, the Randonnée du Souffle invites you to walk a few kilometers at your own pace, accessible to all .
From 10 a.m. onwards, you'll be able to stroll between the stalls and activities, with angling, pastries, face painting and live entertainment. A temporary restaurant will even be set up in the Orangerie du Jardin d'Acclimatation to serve the traditional giant paella in aid of cystic fibrosis research. More than 250 virades are taking place on the same day, so find out which one is closest to you!
