Attracting a growing number of enthusiasts in Paris, the Hyrox is suitable for beginners and experienced athletes alike, although it does require rather rigorous preparation. As a reminder, the Hyrox, the new fitness event from Germany, combines 8 km of running with 8 functional workshops such as SkiErg, Sled Push or Burpee Broad Jumps. It can be run alone, in pairs or in relays.
Gyms offering Hyrox preparation courses in Paris:
Nestled in the 9th arrondissement, Le Hyve gym offers a multitude of classes, from pilates reformer to aquabiking to Hyrox. Well-equipped and with demanding coaches, it's a great option for premium preparation. Single classes cost 32€ (excluding trial offer).
For those who don't want to spend too much money, Fitness Park offers Hyrox preparation training sessions at Fitness Park Paris-Diderot which are included in the Fitness Park + group classes membership. For those who want to train on their own, Fitness Park Paris-Diderot has a Burning Park with all the equipment needed for Hyrox preparation, which can be accessed with the classic membership. Membership with group classes is 45€ per month.
After boxing, pilates reformer, bootcamp, heat... Episod now offers Hyrox classes. You can train in several disciplines:athletic Hyrox, bootcamp Hyrox, cycling Hyrox and rowing Hyrox. The different courses allow you to focus on one or more of the Hyrox race events. So, yes, it's a budget, but it's hard not to mention Episod with the quality of the courses they offer. If you're looking for an intense workout where you'll sweat and burn calories, head to Drip! Located in the 8th and 10th arrondissements, Drip offers Hyrox sessions where you turn up the heat by moving from station to station: skierg, bike, Wall Balls... Single classes cost €35.
