Nestled in a small village corner of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, a gym like no other awaits you, offering intimate, high-intensity workouts. Designed for small groups of up to six people, whether solo or in pairs, this space invites you to step out of the usual crowds and experience fitness differently at Fit Room. Created by Joana BFitness, a personal trainer and content creator, who wanted to bring her expertise beyond social media and provide tailored support for each client.
Even with others in the class, you receive personalized guidance and Joana can correct your movements, ensuring you avoid injury. Unlike crowded group classes, the focus here is on high-end equipment, with exercises tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your chosen discipline—be it cardio boxing, cross training, full-body workouts, JYMP, Hyrox, or pilates—other trainers can assist you along the way.
In this cozy, welcoming gym, everyone's pushing themselves to energizing playlists, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete. The intensity levels are tailored to your fitness level and gradually increased, helping you achieve a transformation or simply stay in great shape.
After a tandem session, we chose a high-intensity cross training workout, alternating between Ski Erg, cardio bike, lunges, and weighted squats, with plenty of breaks to catch our breath and stay hydrated.
This format offers the perfect opportunity to switch up exercises with a partner, creating a highly motivating and almost playful atmosphere that encourages everyone to push their limits. It then transitions into muscle strengthening exercises focused on the upper body, all in a supportive environment. Mirrored walls help participants check and improve their posture easily, following Johana’s clear instructions.
Of course, sore muscles are unavoidable the next day, but there’s a real sense of accomplishment. After all, there's no denying that engaging in sports benefits both the body and the mind.
Fit Room also offers aesthetic treatments and wellness packages designed to blend effort with relaxation. Additionally, they provide fully personalized nutrition guidance. The center also offers classes tailored for children and women in post-partum recovery.
If you'd like to try out a session before committing to a membership, a group class costs 30 euros, while a private session is 50 euros. Afterward, prices start at 280 euros for 10 small group sessions, 450 euros for 10 duo coaching sessions, and 900 euros for 10 private lessons.
An ideal space for those seeking personalized coaching and attentive guidance. Of course, this comes at a price, and it might not appeal as much to fans of large, open free-weight gyms.
