Whether you're a cycling enthusiast or just curious, this is a not-to-be-missed event if you live nearby! There's plenty of free entertainment starting in the morning, as well as an exhibition around the multisport field in Parc de la Vallée, open from July 3, and a floral float with 24,000 flowers on display from July 25 to 29.
At 4.10pm, it's off! The Tour de France cyclists get off to a great start, passing through Porcheville, Versailles and Issy-les-Moulineaux on their way to the capital! Giant screens will enable you to follow this live televised event as if you were in the peloton.
Before the start, don't forget the advertising caravan, if you'd like to pick up a few souvenirs of the Tour de France in your town! Dozens of vehicles and floats will parade along the route, two hours before the riders pass.
