If your kids want to do what the grown-ups do, sign them up for an urban gliding course, to teach them how to use a skateboard or scooter safely, at the skatepark in Sartrouville, Yvelines. For a few days, from August 21 to 25, 2023, the town is offering children aged 6 to 12 this free course, to round off the vacations and have fun alongside professionals. Very much in vogue, skateboarding is even a discipline present at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, so perhaps they'll become future great athletes?
The little ones can discover tricks at their own level, without paying a cent, on the babypark's sports area, which includes a mini-rampfor beginners, a far cry from the zones reserved for experienced riders. For two hours each day, 6-8 year-olds will be able to meet between 2pm and 4pm, while 9-12 year-olds will have the time slot from 4pm to 6pm. Inaugurated in 2021, the skatepark is located in the heart of Parc Youri-Gargarine, and is open to all skaters, rollerbladers, scooters and BMX riders.
