Champions League: everything you need to know about Europe's new competition format
Gone are the days of the Champions League pools! For this new season, the format is changing, and it has to be said, it's not all plain sailing! Here's the lowdown. [Read more]
After an incredible Champions League parade down the Champs-Élysées for PSG two years ago, their first-ever title, followed by an impressive back-to-back, the Paris club will try to repeat the feat, now regarded as one of the tournament’s favorites. In this third edition of the revamped European competition, the third club to face them at home is AS Roma.
Their last showdown dates back to 2017 in another competition, so the Italian club has hardly had many chances to face the Parisians, whose qualities have evolved considerably since then. Roma finished third in Serie A last season, earning a spot in the Champions League. Paris Saint-Germain must approach every match with focus to climb to the top of the table and pick up points.
As usual in the Champions League, the match will be broadcast on Canal+ starting at 9 p.m. You can also watch it live at the Parc des Princes if you can find tickets, or in Parisian bars with your friends!
