Unlike breaking or 3x3 basketball, parkour is not yet in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but who knows, maybe one day! Discover this acrobatic sport discipline for an afternoon at Studio Kremlin, in Ivry-sur-Seine. On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the adidas brand is offering you the chance to take part in free run initiations, alongside promising youngsters in the sport, at the"Playmakers" event. It's the perfect way to highlight the more urban sporting practices that the younger generation particularly appreciates!
Since the beginning of June, a number of sports have been presented to the general public at this springboard event organized by the brand in the run-up to Paris 2024, giving them the chance to discover new disciplines, enthusiasts and young talent. On June 3, the festivities began with hip-hop dance demonstrations at the Lycée Turgot, and battles with French breakdance hopeful Carlota Dudek, before giving way to streetball in October.
From 2pm to 6pm, get out of your comfort zone and try out this art of movement combining agility, speed and self-transcendence, for a long time an underground practice. On the program: initiation for children and teenagers, competitions between registered participants, athlete encounters... so many activities to immerse yourself in urban sports, free of charge!
