Paris-Nice 2024: a large village of free events in Les Mureaux for the start of the race

The start of the Paris-Nice race is this weekend, March 2 and 3, 2024, and it's taking place in Les Mureaux, in the Yvelines department! For the occasion, a large village of free events welcomes young and old around cycling.

The Paris-Nice 2024 is passing through the Yvelines and in particular through the town of Les Mureaux at the beginning of March! The famous cycling race will start at the Château de Bècheville, where a village of free events for young and old will celebrate a great cycling festival! For two days, March 2 and 3, 2024, meet on the château's forecourt to enjoy activities around cycling and urban sports.

As well as being able to watch the start of the race live, a giant screen will enable you to follow the race throughout the afternoon! On site, try out Olympic and urban sports, admire the performances of athletes, challenge yourself on a connected bike, take part in a bike ride or discover an exhibition about the race!

On the program

Demonstrations and introductions for young and old alike to current, new and even future Olympic disciplines such as BMX, climbing, breaking, flag soccer and karate.
Does Afro-urban, freestyle soccer, panna soccer, 3VS3 basketball, double dutch, street workout and parkour sound familiar? Or even better? All the better, as we'll be offering demonstrations and introductions.
On your marks... get set... ride! Ride one of 10 connected bikes and challenge yourself. A 100% fun and immersive experience. So get on your bikes and challenge the clock!
From burgers and sandwiches to timeless sweet crepes and beer brewers*. There's something for everyone.
Discover the history, the jerseys and the heroes of Paris-Nice. A large exhibition will help you understand this legendary race, whose 82nd edition kicks off in Les Mureaux. Anquetil, Poulidor, Merckx, Jalabert: all the great names in cycling will be on show.

Road safety stand
On Saturday, before the start of the Paris-Nice cycling race, take part in a ride open to all cyclists, licensed or not. On the program: three road courses (50, 66 and 98 km), including part of the pros' course on the following day, and a mountain bike and gravel course (44 km).

Please note that traffic will be closed to cars over a large part of the commune, so park further away or come by train (35 minutes from Paris Saint-Lazare)!
