Launched in 2022 by Gerard Piqué, the Kings League is a seven-a-sidesoccer competition broadcast on the Twitch platform, already established in several countries, with the first French edition taking place this spring, alongside French content creators such as Amine, Squeezie, Michou and Domingo. On June 14, 2025, the World Cup will take place for the first time at the heart of the Paris La Défense Arena!
In each participating country, eight teams of seven amateur players compete on a small pitch for two 20-minute periods. More spectacular than sporting, this format includes several special rules such as unlimited substitutions, temporary expulsions in the event of a yellow card and secret cards that can be used by captains to score goals that count double or to obtain a free penalty kick, taken by the club president.

The latter were invited to build their teams with young amateurs selected for the occasion, and former soccer players such as Samir Nasri, Adil Rami and Jérémy Ménez, as well as current internationals like Manu Koné, Mike Maignan, Jules Koundé and Aurélien Tchouaméni! Over the course of a month, the 8 French teams competed against each other, leaving just 4 who qualified to take on the foreign clubs in June, including players such as Neymar and Sergio Agüero.
For this final, eagerly awaited by fans of the competition, the Parisian stadium will vibrate to the rhythm of a different kind of soccer, with spectacular entertainment, streamers and surprises throughout the evening.
