Running to save lives is the pledge of Cardio Challenge Heroes, a charity race on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at the Bois de Vincennes. For every bib, a life-saving skills course is funded, and you’ll head home ready to save a life yourself!

Why not make your next race about saving lives? On Sunday, November 22, 2026, the second edition of the solidarity run returns to the Bois de Vincennes, launched by Protection Civile Paris Seine: the Cardio Challenge Heroes.

The aim? To train as many people as possible in lifesaving techniques, because for every bib purchased, you finance the training of a young person and benefit from express training in these techniques: alerting, massaging, defibrillating, with the possibility of one day saving a life if need be.

And the race is open to all, with several routes to satisfy both seasoned runners and those who haven’t yet taken up running. On the program, a 10km and 5km timed races as well as a 5km walk open to everyone and convivial. Backed by the Paris Fire Brigade, the SAMU, and the French Cardiology Federation, the event aims to raise awareness among 10,000 people about lifesaving measures.

In France, less than 1 in 2 people can perform cardiac massage, while every minute without intervention reduces the chances of survival after cardiac arrest by 10%. A day to run and become a potential rescuer yourself, isn't it worth it?
