The excitement is building as the Africa Cup of Nations approaches its climax! On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, starting at 6 p.m., the Arab World Institute will broadcast live the two semi-final matches of the CAN, with the support of the Moroccan Embassy, the tournament's host country, to celebrate African unity and brotherhood. The evening kicks off with the clash between Egypt and Senegal, followed at 9 p.m. by the showdown between Morocco and Nigeria, as the contenders for the 35th edition of this prestigious competition are revealed!

Both matches will be broadcast in the Salle du Haut Conseil and are available free of charge with prior registration, subject to availability. Following the 2019 exhibition “Football and the Arab World,” the Arab World Institute aims once again to reaffirm its commitment to major cultural and sporting events that resonate with the Arab and African communities.
