The charity race Lions Paris 9 Run is making its comeback on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Organized by the Lions Club Paris Helen Keller, the event takes runners through the 9th arrondissement of Paris, along a stunning urban route passing by landmarks such as the Opera House and the Church of the Holy Trinity. Three race categories enable the entire family to stay active while supporting a good cause, with 1.5 km suitable for kids, a 5 km race, and a 10 km course for the more seasoned runners among you.
In 2025, 80% of the registration fee proceeds were donated to charitable causes, primarily to the Helen Keller Fund, which champions inclusive education for children with disabilities. Previously held in March, the race has now been moved to May to benefit from milder weather and to create a more relaxed, springtime atmosphere that fosters camaraderie.
Open to children as young as 5, this walk/run is designed to be a lively and inclusive celebration. It's an opportunity for families and kids to take part in the event together, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for all.
This event encourages a friendly and active exploration of the 9th district. Without any emphasis on competition, it focuses on the joy of moving together, uncovering the neighborhood from a new perspective, and supporting an important cause.
Designed for more seasoned runners, this challenging course offers a true test of athleticism: elevation changes, strategic accelerations, technical turns, and a steady pace. An urban route that blends performance with a spirit of solidarity and community commitment.
