The municipality of Perray-en-Yvelines is donning the colors of the Football World Cup 2026l this summer. For the three group-stage matches of the France national team—and likely more if Les Bleus go far—the Mare au Loup community hall will be transformed into a covered fan zone and free to enter. A giant screen, light bites, and a shared, festive atmosphere will welcome supporters as they follow France's journey.
To rally collectively around the performances of the French players, residents of Perray-en-Yvelines and nearby towns will be able to gather in the town’s main festive space. The salle des fêtes will host the event with a big-screen broadcast. The concept centers on local conviviality, with a snack bar offering cold drinks and a space for light bites so people can munch throughout the matches.
While the initiative helps ensure a climate-controlled outing free from the whims of the summer weather, the event takes place indoors, the venue's capacity is limited for obvious security reasons. Unlike large outdoor fan zones, both seated and standing areas will not be expanded. It is highly advisable to arrive well before kickoff to guarantee entry and comfortable seating before the rush of supporters, on June 22 at 23:00 and June 26 at 21:00!
