Padel Festival: a festive day featuring tournaments and introductory sessions to kick off the Paris Major.

On the occasion of the Paris Major 2026, Roland-Garros Stadium launches the Padel Festival on Sunday, September 6. The lineup features taster sessions on the iconic courts, exhibition matches between legends, a celebrity tournament, and amateur competitions.

To kick off the Paris Major, scheduled from September 6–13, 2026 at the Roland-Garros Stadium, a festive day is set to take place, the Padel Festival, on the first Sunday. Between activities, taster sessions, sporting challenges and meet-and-greets, seize this moment to discover the padel or share your passion, with a ticket priced at 20 euros for adults and 10 euros for under-12s, in this temple of tennis.

Some exhibition matches will take place on Court Philippe-Chatrier between French tennis legends (Richard Gasquet, Arnaud Clément, Lucas Pouille and Fabrice Santoro) and professional padel players, while a celebrity tournament will bring together personalities beloved by the public. Throughout the day, spectators will be able to watch the first matches of the tournament during the qualifying rounds.

This event mainly invites the public to take part, featuring an open competition for amateur players "Des Clubs au Chatrier", which brings together 31 winning amateur mixed-doubles pairs from the qualifying tournaments and one professional in a knockout format, with a prize pool of 10,000 euros.

It will also be an opportunity to gain access to several courts at the stadium to try your hand at padel, supervised by qualified instructors, letting you feel the players’ adrenaline for a few exchanges. The 15-minute sessions operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Throughout the tournament, other activities await, including foosball, pétanque, mölky, cornhole, and more.
