For the inaugural edition of the Nations Championship, the Blues will face Argentina on November 21, 2026. Here you'll find Paris bars with screens to watch the match!

The rugby international changes format in 2026! With the Championship of Nations, also known as the Nations Championship, the top teams from both hemispheres meet in a new biennial competition. For the France XV, three fixtures are lined up in November: France-Fiji on Saturday, November 7, France-South Africa on Friday, November 13, and France-Argentina on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

This new competition brings together 12 teams, split evenly between six European nations and six representatives from the Southern Hemisphere and the Pacific. The July and November fixtures feed into a shared standings table, before finals that will decide the pecking order for the teams and the two groups.

First meeting on November 7 against Fiji. Renowned for its attacking rugby, pace, and individual flair, the Fiji side has the tools to unsettle European defenses. A clash that will demand the French to master the tempo of the game and the transition phases.

On November 13, the challenge rises another notch with the South Africa, two-time world champions after their titles in 2019 and 2023. The Springboks had notably eliminated the French in the quarterfinals of the 2023 World Cup, in a particularly tight match (29-28). These reunions will therefore carry a special resonance for the French supporters.

Finally, on November 21, the French XV will take on Argentina. The Pumas, semifinalists at the 2023 World Cup, are renowned for their physical intensity and their knack for speeding up the pace. A final clash that could shape the final standings of the 2026 Nations Championship.

For the Bleus supporters, this November 2026 will bring together three distinctly different rugby styles, from Fiji's creativity to South Africa's power and Argentina's intensity. So, check out the bars with big screens where you can follow the action in Paris!
