In Orgeval, Selfie Studio turns photography into an activity to enjoy together. The venue features twelve immersive settings where visitors can move around with their phones and create their own images. Here, everyone can strike a pose, get behind the camera or stage a little scene with friends and family, without a photographer directing the shoot.
The experience plays with very different atmospheres. A comic-book setting turns a room into a black-and-white drawing, with a window opening onto an illustrated Eiffel Tower. Further on, a private jet cabin, a flower wall or neon lights offer other ideas for staging. A ball-filled bathtub and a “Kissing Booth” cabin complete this collection of scenes to explore.
The appeal of the experience lies in the freedom to change roles and atmospheres. The same person can pose in several different worlds, while the group looks for a camera angle, tries an expression or prepares a short video. Ring lights are available to light the shots, and props add to the fun. Photos and videos are taken on participants’ own devices, so they can keep them.
The studio also has a changing booth, allowing visitors to switch up their looks from one set to another. Whether with friends or as a couple, this outing is for people who enjoy creating images and posing together. The set provides the starting point; the poses, role-swapping and little stories captured in photographs are up to the visitors.
