Parisians and music lovers, this news may be of interest to you! On January 21, 2020, a new building dedicated to music will officially open. Called 360 Paris Music Factory, this 1,080 m² facility is set to open in the heart of the Barbès district.
Conceived by Saïd Assadi, the project is " a collective adventure, part of a social economy based on the principles of solidarity and social utility ". Promoting an approach to music based on the values of transculturalism and diversity, Saïd Assadi hopes to bring a breath of fresh air to this famous district in northern Paris.
To this end, 360 Paris Music Factory will offer music professionals all the activities they need to create, produce and distribute music. The facility will also house a concert and performance hall. In addition to being modular (194 seats, and 300 seats/standing), it will be connected. Robotic cameras will capture concerts and broadcast them live. Audiences will also be able to interact with the shows via smartphones in real time.
The first floor will feature a rehearsal and recording studio, while the second floor will be home to a restaurant, a place of conviviality and exchange, with dishes that give priority to short food production circuits. For those with a penchant for beautiful views, the rooftop is the place to be.
The foundation stone for 360 Paris Music Factory was laid in 2017 at the corner of 32 rue Myrha and 8 rue Léon. After more than two years of construction work, the venue will officially open its doors on January 21, 2020. In terms of programming, 360 Paris Music Factory is already announcing the arrival of the Au Fil des Voix festival, as well as the famous group L'Orchestre National de Barbès.
