Metal music will be in full swing next summer in France, and more specifically in the Charente-Maritime department, thanks to the new and fifth edition of the 666 festival. Expected to take place in Cercoux on Friday August 9, Saturday August 10 and Sunday August 11, 2024, this new edition will welcome some 2,000 festival-goers per day, all of them extreme music fans of course!
In terms of programming, the 666 festival is set to put all metalheads on the same wavelength with the arrival of the American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California, Testament! Ukrainian band Jinjer are also announced, as are British extreme metal band Cradle of Filth, Swiss avant-garde metal band Zeal & Ardor, American progressive metalcore band Born of Osiris and France's Lofofora. In all, some thirty bands are set to get the crowd going on August 9, 10 and 11 in south-west France.
On site, the 666 festival will offer two outdoor stages, as well as a catering service with foodtrucks, grills and refreshment stands, not forgetting a dedicated merchandising area for a spot of shopping.
