Victoires de la musique 2024: Zazie named Honorary President

Zazie succeeds Calogero as Honorary President of the 39th Victoires de la Musique ceremony, scheduled for February 9, 2024 at La Seine Musicale.

Tick-tock, tick-tock... as the days go by, the stress mounts among the nominees for the Victoires de la Musique awards. This year's musical event takes place on Friday February 9, 2024 on France 2 and France Inter. The nominees include Zaho de Sagazan at the top of the list, as well as Véronique Sanson, Pierre de Maere, Etienne Daho, Jain, Louane, Aya Nakamura, Gazo and Vianney.

The 39th edition of the Victoires de la Musique, due to take over La Seine Musicale on Friday February 9, 2024, has unveiled its official list of nominees. These are artists that Parisian audiences will soon be able to catch live inconcert at one of the capital's many venues. In the meantime, several of them will be performing live from the Seine Musicale on February 9 at the new Victoires de la Musique awards.

In other news, Zazie has been named Honorary President of the 39th Victoires de la Musique ceremony. She succeeds Calogero, chosen last year.

Zazie has won a total of six Victoires de la Musique awards over the course of her career, making her one of the most awarded French artists at the Victoires! In 1993, she won the Victoire de la Musique for"best female hopeful". In 1998 and 2002, she won the Victoire for Female Artist of the Year. In 2008, Zazie also won the songwriting award for the original song of the year " Double je ", sung by Christophe Willem.

Since the start of her career, Zazie has scored a string of hits, including " Zen ", " Je suis un homme ", " Rue de la Paix ", " Larsen ", " Rodéo ", " J'envoie valser " and, more recently, " Speed ". Zazie has also written for many other artists, including Johnny Hallyday, Pascal Obispo, Florent Pagny, Jane Birkin, Calogero and Patricia Kaas.

More recently, Zazie scored a hit with her duet with Vianney on the song " Comment on fait ". On the live front, the singer plans to invade the Grand Rex in Paris on March 22, 2024 in a one-off concert that's already sold out.

In the meantime, Zazie will be on stage at La Seine Musicale on February 9 as Honorary President of the 39th Victoires de la Musique ceremony!
