Pop rock fans will be in the west of Paris on Tuesday August 22 and Wednesday August 23, 2023 for two exceptional concerts by American band Imagine Dragons at the Paris La Défense Arena. Following in the footsteps of Bruce Springsteen, Pink, The Who, Maroon 5 and Guns N'Roses, another international band is set to take over the Paris La Défense Arena. Imagine Dragons , a pop-rock band led by Dan Reynolds, will meet up with their Parisian fans at two sold-out concerts scheduled for Tuesday August 22 and Wednesday August 23, 2023 at Europe's largest indoor venue. This will be a first for the American band, who have never before taken over this venue in the Hauts-de-Seine region, and who are sure to honor several of their many hits, such as " Bones ", " Wrecked" and " Bad Liar ", on the occasion of their"Mercury World Tour".


With just a few hours to go before these two Imagine Dragons shows in the capital, the Paris La Défense Arena has lifted the veil on the practical and useful information you need to know in order to best prepare for your visit.

Please note that Paris La Défense Arena has several different entrances, depending on your place in the hall. Therefore, " the colored access indicated on your ticket (yellow, red or purple) helps you to find your way around, but does not represent a compulsory passage point for screening ", explains the Paris La Défense Arena, which advises you to go directly to the entrances indicated below:

  • Entrances to the pit, level 1 (101 to 118) and level 4 (401 to 421) are as indicated on your ticket.
  • VIP entrances: 21, 39 and 55 will be open.
  • For the disabled and those with reduced mobility, access will be via entrances 38 and 5 for level 1 tickets, then via entrance 56 for level 4 tickets.

The Paris La Défense Arena website also contains a list of prohibited items at concerts, "in accordance with legislation governing establishments open to the public ". Forbidden are " all dangerous and illicit objects that are bulky, that could be used as projectiles and that could be a danger to spectators, visitors or artists, or that could be diverted from their intended use for malicious purposes", such as bags and containers of more than 20 liters, bottles and flasks of more than 50 cl, helmets, alcoholic beverages, any object on wheels (skateboards, rollerblades, etc.), unauthorized cameras, rigid umbrellas, megaphones and foghorns .

On the other hand, gourds or plastic bottles of up to 50 cl (one gourd or bottle per person) and small bags or saddlebags of up to 20 liters per person are permitted.

Finally, once you've had your fill of Imagine Dragons, it's time to head back home, to the La Défense station (Line 1 / RER A) if you're heading back to Paris.

For all other directions, go to La Défense station for Transilien lines L and T2. " If you're taking public transport to Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Cergy and Poissy, you can get to Nanterre Préfecture station and take the RER A," adds Paris La Défense Arena.
