On Thursday October 5, 2023, the Paris La Défense Arena was packed to the rafters for Taratata's 30th anniversary. When tickets went on sale a few months ago, they were snapped up like hotcakes. A good thing for the flagship music program on France 2, hosted by Nagui. For, while the concert was festive, it was also, and above all, intended to be charitable, in aid of the fight against cancer. Nagui made a point of reminding us of this at the start of the concert, as evidenced by some of the videos posted on Instagram.
On the programming side, Air Production and the famous Taratata host had indeed managed to hold their tongues, as spectators present for the occasion had no idea what to expect or which artists would be present on October 5 at Paris La Défense Arena for Taratata's 30th anniversary.
So, the day after the big show, we took to our social networks to find out which artists had turned up for this major musical event. And one thing's for sure: there were plenty of them. As Nagui indicated at the start of the evening, over 80 artists took to the stage of the Paris La Défense Arena to perform mythical songs as duos, trios or quartets, over the course of a 3-hour concert!
On the international front, Taratata scored a big hit by welcoming the legendary Ed Sheeran to sing his worldwide hit " Perfect ", as well as Sharleen Spiteri from the Scottish band Texas, not forgetting Italian singer Zucchero and American guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers with his hit " Le Freak ".
The same videos posted on the networks also featured Zazie singing " New York avec toi " with Jean-Louis Aubert, Thomas Dutronc with Eddy Mitchell, Shaka Ponk with Matthieu Chedid on guitar, Laurent Voulzy with Yael Naim and Raphael, Pascal Obispo with Cali and Olivia Ruiz with Bernard Lavilliers. And let's not forget MC Solaar, Charlie Winston, Vianney, Grand Corps Malade, Ibrahim Maalouf, Axel Bauer, Skip the Use...
