France Music Week: 11 talents from the French music scene to discover at Maison de la Radio

Ever heard of France Music Week? Launched at the initiative of Emmanuel Macron, this new popular event will take place across the country from Monday June 16 to Saturday June 21, 2025.

For this very first edition, France Music Week 's ambition is " to put France on the world music map by bringing together those who make up the music industry in Europe and around the world, and to promote the richness of French musical creation ", reads a press release.

Over the course of a week, France Music Week will offer a series of events for professionals, including conferences and round-table discussions. But this new cultural event also intends to offer the general public a festive and eclectic program, such as the big free concert scheduled to close on June 21, the day of the Fête de la musique.

The very first France Music Week comes to a close this Saturday, June 21, 2025, the day of the Fête de la Musique, with a major free concert (registration required) in the Jardins du Louvre, Paris. On the menu? Camille, Christine and the Queens, Keren Ann, Bernard Lavilliers, Jeanne Added, La Femme, Solann and Malik Djoudi. Here's the line-up! [Read more]

Another event for the general public? International Exhcange Days. The idea? To organize two days dedicated to exchanges between the French and international sectors, in order to " strengthen collaborations and the presence of French creation around the world ".

And the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique is taking part in the event, hosting a series of 11 showcases by " Made in France " artists on Wednesday June 18 and Thursday June 19, 2025. An opportunity for the general public to discover these artists, produced in France but already exporting internationally.

On the program? Talent from the likes of Jan Verstraeten, Kutu and Laura Cahen, as well as jazz(Gabi Hartmann, Robinson Khoury "Mÿa"...) and classical music. Open to the public free of charge, these showcases are open to those who register. Places are limited, so don't delay if you wish to attend.
