VannDa, the Cambodian rapper, in concert at the Salle Pleyel in Paris in December 2025

Some may have discovered him during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics alongside Phœnix, Kavinsky, and Angèle. Others already knew him. It must be said thatVannDa is a key figure in Cambodian rap. 

This fall, the artist returns to Paris and announces his very first concert at Salle Pleyel on Monday, December 1, 2025. The icing on the cake is thatVannDa will not be alone on stage. He will be joined by four other artists from Cambodia, namelyVanthan, Norith, YuuHai, and Suzana. All of them, along with Vannda, are part of Baramey Production, "considered one of the most renowned and influential music labels in Cambodia and Southeast Asia," according to a press release.

Although increasingly popular in Southeast Asia, the contemporary Cambodian music scene remains relatively unknown in Europe. But now it is ready to conquer French audiences! This concert, scheduled for December 1 at the Salle Pleyel, is therefore an important milestone for artists from this music scene. This Parisian evening will also bring together artists from Cambodia for the first time at the Salle Pleyel. It will be an opportunity to discover this unique musical style, championed by VannDa among others, and to experience a wonderful cultural encounter between Paris and Phnom Penh.
