The last time The Rolling Stones performed in Paris was back in 2022. That summer, the legendary British rock band took over the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp in July. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the chance to see Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood rock the Parisian stage once more. Especially now, with the band having released Hackney Diamonds in October 2023 — their 24th album and first studio record in 18 years!
While The Rolling Stones packed their bags and toured across the United States from April 28 to July 21, 2024, the "Hackney Diamonds Tour" was seemingly set to make its way to the UK and Europe in 2026 with a series of stadium concerts. No official announcement had been made yet, but a date in Paris, scheduled for June 2026, was already being discussed. Meanwhile, pianist Chuck Leavell revealed that The Rolling Stones were planning to hit the road again in the UK and across Europe in 2026.
However, according to The Sun, and reported by NME, the Rolling Stones' planned European tour has been canceled. The band apparently decided to shelve the tour, as Keith Richards was unable to commit to such a demanding schedule. Additionally, a spokesperson for the group told The Sun: "The band wanted to hit the road earlier this year, but that wasn’t possible. It’s tough for their fans, but the Stones will hit the stage again as soon as they’re ready."
The hopes of seeing The Rolling Stones perform in concert again in 2026 across European stadiums, including Paris, now appear to be dashed. But fans can breathe easy — the legendary band is still set to release a highly anticipated new album next year, featuring fresh tracks that are eagerly awaited.
