While Oasis completed a major reunion tour with 41 shows around the world, the British band has now announced a hiatus "for a period of reflection." On X, Liam Gallagher took it a step further, revealing that Oasis will not hold any concerts in 2026.

On November 23rd, Oasis wrapped up their heartfelt reunion tour with a huge concert in São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to that, the legendary British band had already played 40 other shows across the globe, including stops in Chile, Argentina, Australia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and North America, not to mention their seven unforgettable performances at Wembley Stadium in London.

Since then, fans from Italy, Spain, Germany, and France have been eagerly waiting, hoping for the iconic brothers Gallagher to extend their reunion tour. However, on November 24th, Oasis announced on their social media channels that they would be taking a break "for a period of reflection."

Many fans still hold onto hope of seeing the Gallagher brothers perform live in Europe in the coming months. However, according to Liam Gallagher, fans will have to wait a bit longer. The Oasis frontman, known for engaging with fans on X, announced that the band will not be touring or playing any concerts in 2026 and won't hit the road again until at least 2027.

As reported by NME, Liam Gallagher was bombarded with questions from fans on X about the band's upcoming tour dates. The British singer made it clear that there are no plans for concerts in 2026. “Sorry, we’re not doing anything in 2026,” Liam Gallagher responded to a fan's inquiry about next year's schedule. Another fan asked whether the band might return to Knebworth Park, where they played their biggest concert to date in 1996. Liam replied: “Nothing planned for next year, apart from the World Cup.” However, he left the door open for fans still hoping to see Oasis on stage again, potentially in 2027, by tweeting: “I don't have anything scheduled before 2027, I mean, Merry Christmas.”

Rumors about potential new tour dates in 2026 have been swirling online in recent weeks. There’s even talk of one or two shows at the Stade de France. So, when can fans expect new Oasis concerts? Liam Gallagher is keeping everyone on edge, fueling speculation and testing the patience of his followers. Earlier this month, Liam Gallagher hinted that more shows might be on the horizon. “I know things you don’t,” he wrote in response to a fan on X, adding fuel to the fire.
