LOMLA & Le Comte de Fourques at La Dame de Canton

LOMLA (poetic French rock) and Le Comte de Fourques (rock singer-songwriter) will perform on March 12th at La Dame de Canton.

LOMLA

LOMLA is a collective cry, an electric call to action. Four musicians — Séb (vocals and guitar), David (guitar), Joe (bass), and JB (drums) — have chosen their amplifiers as their voice, expressing what words can no longer convey on their own.

Drawn from a deep well of French rock and unapologetically raw, LOMLA crafts visceral music that’s rough around the edges but always deeply human. Their French lyrics cut straight to the core, blending quiet rebellion, sharp anger, and flashes of hope. With a roaring guitar, pounding drums, an anchoring bass, and cutting vocals, their sound is gritty and powerful—sometimes beautiful, never lukewarm.

On stage, instinct takes the lead. Every concert erupts as a surge of energy, a call to stay alive in a world asleep. LOMLA is more than just a band: it's a sonic shock, a helping hand, a gentle blade that digs into the parts that need healing.

Count de Fourques

Fourques is a small village not far from Perpignan. His friends used to call him the "Count of Fourques." David Légal chose to adopt this nickname as his stage name. It all started with the guitar and music, then he looked for words to match his melodies... He asked some songwriter friends for help, but they didn’t supply any. So Le Comte de Fourques took matters into his own hands—and did so with joy. His songs are gently provocative, driven by catchy rhythms rooted in rock, and that’s just what we need to brighten the mood.
