Since then, fans of the Canadian diva have been buzzing with anticipation and their sole hope is to land a ticket for one of these upcoming performances in the capital. But the feat won’t be easy. By Monday evening, after the announcement, many were already trying to register for the lottery that will grant access to the famous presale.
Already, questions are arising about the staging of this Paris residence and the setlist. Which songs could Céline Dion perform this fall at the Paris La Défense Arena? Will there be new tracks on the menu? It’s a real possibility. Because, according to our colleagues at the Parisien, Céline Dion is poised to unveil new French-language songs this year, including one penned by a certain... Jean-Jacques Goldman.
According to Le Parisien, the two artists have reportedly teamed up again, ten years after their last collaboration on the track "Encore un soir". This new song, whose title remains under wraps for now, was written in 2021 and could be unveiled to fans on April 17.
According to today's paper, a second song, this time written by Ycare, could be released before the summer, ahead of the release of a third track that will be unveiled during Céline Dion's first concert at Paris La Défense Arena. The new album, meanwhile, could drop at the end of 2026 or sometime in 2027.
We should recall that Céline Dion and Jean-Jacques Goldman have collaborated repeatedly, most notably in 1995 on the hit album "D'eux". Widely regarded as the best-selling French-language album in the history of music, "D'eux" features such classics as Pour que tu m’aimes encore, Je sais pas and J’irai où tu iras. Subsequently, Dion and Goldman re-teamed for "S’il suffisait d’aimer" (1998) and "Une fille et quatre types" (2003).
